About the founders:

Steve Chance

With over 13 years of experience building cutting edge websites, Steve brings the essential creative and technical expertise to Meteorsite’s development division.  Prior to being with Meteorsite, Steve created and operated EAN (EarthAtNight.com), an entertainment portal that provided live and video-on-demand webcasts of entertainment events, performing over 120 live webcasts and thousands of VOD titles.  The site managed live dedicated webcasts from such well known venues in Los Angeles as The Century Club, as well as internationally known events such as the Latino International Film Festival, for which EAN was a sponsor, The Cannes International Film Festival, and other events for major artists and company events such as JayZ’s official record release, the Alkoholiks live in Los Angeles and RIO Casinos and Courvoisier Modeling Contests. 

Steve also managed the B2B side of the company, CorpWebcast.com, which handled corporate events and webcasts for clients such as The OmniCom group, Courvoisier and Jay-Z.  Steve has extensive experience in Webcasting, Dynamic Website Devleopment, Flash, and project concept design, enhancement and management.

Jeff Chance

Jeff began WebDzign.com in 1995 to cater to the new and ever-increasing demands for Website Design and Development.  Among his clients were Seiko Instruments International and Vision Entertainment.   His agency developed high-end websites and in 1998 began to drive traffic to client websites via Search Engines such as AOL, Yahoo and Excite.  

Jeff continued to create and optimize websites and market them via Paid Search and to promote sites via online press distribution networks and to create buzz and qualified backlinks via forums and blogs and original Social Networks and Media outlets before the terms Viral Marketing or Social Network Marketing became common place.

In 2003 Jeff was invited to join Microsoft’s new MSN Live Search. He instead opted to join The Disney Corp. to manage the online marketing for Movies.com.  The day Jeff began at Disney Movies.com was at its lowest point in traffic to its highest point in more than a year. Jeff also raised Movies.com to number 1 for their primary keyword "Movies" which had previously been in 2nd position behind Internet giant Movies.Yahoo.com. Following these successes Jeff designed and created the position which places all Search Engine Marketing initiatives for the seven separate Disney business units, such as Disney.com, ESPN.com and Movies.com under one central authority.

Steve and Jeff joined forces in 2005 to create Meteorsite, a boutique Web Development and Marketing firm synchronizing high-end development, graphic design, online marketing and customer service into client-customized solutions.
